Getting started
What is hormone replacement therapy (HRT)?
Hormone replacement therapy uses prescription hormones to bring levels back into a healthy range when your labs and symptoms show a deficiency. At Summit, that can mean testosterone therapy for men, or estrogen, progesterone and testosterone for women, always based on your bloodwork and a one-on-one provider review.
How do I know if I need hormone therapy?
Fatigue, low sex drive, poor sleep, mood changes, brain fog, trouble losing weight and decreased muscle mass can all point to a hormone imbalance, but they have many possible causes. Comprehensive bloodwork and a provider review show whether hormones are part of the picture.
How does the process work?
1) Book a free consult with our team. 2) Get your comprehensive bloodwork drawn at a Summit clinic or a LabCorp location. 3) Review your results one-on-one with a licensed provider. 4) If treatment is right for you, your plan, medication and supplies ship to your door, with follow-up labs and check-ins along the way.
What services do you offer?
Testosterone therapy for men, women's hormone therapy, medical weight loss and peptide therapy. Treatment is personalized based on your bloodwork, health history and goals.
What's included in the initial bloodwork?
Our comprehensive panels test iron and TIBC, A1c, T4, DHEA, testosterone, TSH, LH, FSH, prolactin, estradiol, ferritin, a CBC, vitamin D, SHBG, a comprehensive metabolic panel, folate and lipids. Men also receive PSA testing, and women receive progesterone testing. See the full list on our bloodwork page.

Cost and insurance
How much does it cost?
Your first consult is free. The comprehensive panel and provider review is $249, follow-up panels are $99, and treatment, if it's right for you, is a flat monthly cost that's confirmed with you before anything is charged. There are no membership fees. See our pricing page for details.
What's included in the monthly cost?
Medication, supplies, provider access and ongoing dose adjustments. Nothing is stacked on top, and there's no contract.
Do you accept insurance?
We don't accept or bill insurance for hormone replacement therapy. That keeps our pricing simple and published.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. There's no membership fee, no doctor's fee and no separate charge to have your results explained.
What if my treatment needs change?
Your provider adjusts your plan as needed based on follow-up labs and how you're feeling. Dose adjustments are part of your monthly cost.
Treatment and safety
Who will be overseeing my treatment?
Licensed providers on our medical team at each of our locations. Your provider reviews your labs, builds your plan, monitors your progress and adjusts your treatment as needed.
How do you monitor treatment safety?
We use regular bloodwork through LabCorp, scheduled follow-ups with your provider, and ongoing monitoring of symptoms and side effects. Your provider adjusts treatment based on your response and any changes in your health.
Who shouldn't use these treatments?
Some conditions need special consideration. For example, tirzepatide isn't used by people with a history of medullary thyroid cancer or multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome type 2. We review your full medical history before recommending any treatment.
What are common side effects?
Side effects depend on the treatment. With hormone therapy, some patients notice acne or water retention in the first few months. Your provider reviews the possible side effects of your plan before you start and adjusts treatment if needed.
What if I experience side effects?
Contact your clinic right away. Your provider can review what you're experiencing and adjust your treatment, change your dosing or recommend supportive measures. For a medical emergency, call 911.
Can I take these treatments with other medications?
We review all your current medications and supplements before starting treatment. Some interactions are possible, so full disclosure of your medical history and current treatments is essential for your safety.
How long do patients typically stay on treatment?
Hormone therapy is usually a long-term plan. At each follow-up, your provider reviews your labs and symptoms with you and talks through whether to continue, adjust or stop.
Men's testosterone therapy
What are the signs I might need testosterone therapy?
Common reasons men reach out include persistent fatigue, a lower sex drive, difficulty building or keeping muscle, more body fat around the midsection, mood changes, brain fog, poor sleep and lower motivation. These symptoms have many possible causes, so your provider reviews your full panel before recommending anything.
What if my testosterone isn't low?
Your provider still reviews your full panel with you and explains what the results show. If testosterone therapy isn't a fit, you'll hear that directly, along with what the rest of your labs may be pointing to.
Women's hormone therapy
What women's hormone issues do you treat?
We see women for estrogen, progesterone and testosterone imbalances, including perimenopause and menopause symptoms. Your provider looks at your symptoms and labs together to decide whether treatment fits.
What symptoms might point to a hormone imbalance in women?
Common reasons women reach out include irregular periods, hot flashes, night sweats, mood swings, weight gain around the midsection, low libido, vaginal dryness, brain fog, fatigue, difficulty sleeping and thinning hair.
What's included in women's hormone bloodwork?
The women's panel includes testosterone, estradiol, progesterone, DHEA, thyroid markers (TSH and T4), LH, FSH, prolactin and the other markers in our comprehensive panel.
Do women use testosterone too?
Women naturally produce testosterone, so it's one of the three hormones we evaluate. Your provider monitors your levels and discusses whether testosterone belongs in your plan.
Medical weight loss and peptides
How is your medical weight loss different from other programs?
It combines comprehensive bloodwork, provider supervision, prescription options such as GLP-1 medications when appropriate, and coaching through our 1st Phorm partnership: a weight loss coach and trainer, plus access to the 1st Phorm App.
Will I regain weight after stopping treatment?
Medication works best alongside nutrition, training and sleep habits. Your coach and provider help you build those habits during the program and talk with you about what to expect if you stop.
What are peptides?
Peptides are short chains of amino acids that act as signaling molecules in the body. Different peptides act on different processes, so our medical staff starts with your goals and health history.
Which peptides do you offer?
Ask our staff for the current list of peptides, injectable vitamins and amino acids, and any information you want about them.
